kasey townsend born 23/3/2008 and passed away on the24/3/2008 daughter of amanda and mark sister to
luke bethany curtislee callum and leo.we never planed on having anymore children but then it
happened we were exepecting our 6th baby we were very pleased and so were our children our daughter
especaily as she long for a sister with being the only girl to 4 boys.we went for our 20wk scan and
were told we were having a little girl everybody was really execited and over the moon then on the
22nd march it all started i went in to labour it was long and slow then on the 23rd march the
problems started they broke my waters at 11 oclock but things still wasent moving mark then asked
the doctors to do a c-section they said no they wanted to try a drug first so they put me on a drip
to try to move thinks but ended up ruptering my uturis and tore my old scar from a previous
c-section then your kasey heartbeat started droping and was left for 30 min befor being taken for a
emergency c-section kasey was rushed starigt to baby unit and put on a ventolater has she couidnt
breath for herself i was still in surgey at this point having surgery from the damage the drug had
done.we were then told we had to take it hr by hr with her but was not looking promising we were
then told at 1.30am on the 24th to go and spend as much time with you cause your organs started
failing so we had you chrisened then made the choice to turn your ventolation of you hung on thow
till 11-05am you did us proud you died because lack of oxygen blood circulation an brain damage
which was becuse of the time they left you befor surgery if they had done the secion when your dad
said and not used the drug you wouid be alive and well here with us today.we are fighting for answer
for our daughter as there neglances resulted in our lose
